Use Post Answer in Claude and ChatGPT
Last updated October 29, 2026
Post Answer finds what your audience is talking about (Radar), helps you turn it into short videos, posts them, answers comments with Auto DMs and shows how each post did (Stats). Once you connect it, you can do all of that from a conversation in Claude or ChatGPT.
What you need
- A Post Answer account. Start one at postanswer.com.
- Claude (claude.ai, the desktop app or Claude Code) or ChatGPT.
- For Stats, posting and Auto DMs: your social accounts connected in Post Answer under Post.
Connect in Claude
- As a connector: Customize, Connectors, Add custom connector, then paste
https://postanswer.com/mcp. - With the plugin (the connector plus skills that teach Claude how to use it well): Customize, Plugins, Add marketplace, then paste
https://github.com/allistaroxi/post-answer-plugin. In Claude Code:/plugin install post-answer --marketplace allistaroxi/post-answer-plugin.
Claude opens Post Answer’s sign-in. You get an email link, sign in, and choose what the connection may do.
Connect in ChatGPT
Open chatgpt.com/plugins, select Add, then Add custom MCP server, and paste https://postanswer.com/mcp. ChatGPT opens the same sign-in. In a chat, pick Post Answer by typing @Post in the message box.
What you allow
When you connect, you tick which workspaces (brands or clients) the assistant may see. It can always read their Radar topics, research, posts and Stats. Everything else is off unless you tick it:
- Save caption drafts in Post. A draft never goes out by itself.
- Start Radar searches and research. A new search uses one of your plan’s runs and takes about 10 minutes, so the assistant asks you first.
- Post and schedule. The assistant shows you a full preview first: each network and account, the caption, the files, the time and any Auto DM. Nothing goes out until you say yes in the chat, and Post Answer’s server checks that approval, not the assistant.
- Auto DMs and leads. Set up, change and stop Auto DMs, and read the names and emails they bring in.
- Brand voice and sources. Update how your brand sounds and the subreddits, X accounts and news sites Radar watches. The assistant reads the changes back to you first.
What you can ask
- “What is my audience talking about this week? Breaking stories first.”
- “Research the second topic and write me a hook and a 30-second script in my voice.”
- “Save that as an Instagram draft for Thursday at 6 pm.” Then: “Schedule it.”
- “Which of my reels did best this month, and why?”
- “Set up an Auto DM: anyone who comments GUIDE gets the link to my guide.”
- “Add r/dentistry to my Radar sources and make my brand voice less formal.”
Saved Radar topics are the results of your last search, and the assistant says which date they are from. It runs a fresh search only when you ask.
Limits
Each person can make up to 30 requests a minute and 300 an hour through AI connections, with lower limits for Stats and drafts. Radar searches and research count toward your plan, just as they do in the app.
See or disconnect a connection
In Post Answer, open Settings, then Connected AI tools. Every connection is listed with what it may do and when it was last used. Disconnect stops access at once. It does not cancel posts that are already scheduled.
If something looks wrong
- A tool is missing after you ticked a new permission or after an update: assistants remember the tool list from when you connected. In Claude, disconnect Post Answer and connect again. In ChatGPT, open Post Answer’s settings under Plugins and select Refresh tools.
- A new brand is missing: workspaces you add later are not shared until you connect again.
- “No social accounts connected”: connect them in Post Answer under Post, then ask again.
Your data
The assistant gets only the Post Answer data you ask for, for the workspaces and permissions you allowed. Post Answer keeps a short record of each request (which action, when, whether it worked) for 90 days to enforce limits and help with support. It does not keep your chat. The details are in our privacy policy.
